In the 1970's, the "Jesus People Movement" was sweeping America and multitudes of young people were being profoundly saved and converted to Christ. While many of the traditional churches closed their doors to the long haired, denim clad "hippies", Pastor Wayman Mitchell received them with open arms to his little church in Prescott Arizona.

 

Pastor Mitchell's solid grounding in the Word of God and his passion to take the Gospel into all the world was soon imparted in to the hearts of many zealous new converts. In a few short years, several young couples were launched into surrounding cities to pioneer new churches.

 

In 1974, one of those couples was sent to Yuma to begin a new church.  40 years later, the church in Yuma, AZ has grown with faithful members and has in turn planted dozens of couples around the world! 

 

In September, 2009, Pastor Naaman Struck and his family were sent from Yuma, Arizona to Pomona, California to carry on this great heritage.

 

With the guidance, support and accountability provided by his pastor, Joe Zeable, and mother church in Yuma Arizona,  Pastor Naaman Struck  has  one mission: to Save, Equip and Send the next generation of soul winners into the harvest field.
